It also supports older PS/2 keyboards, adds protection against reversed-cable damage, and works with the Replica 1. Ships with new connector cable and standoffs. This is the SuperEncoder from Briel Computers. Comes as pictured with new connector cable and standoffs.

The SuperEncoder replaces your existing Apple II and II Plus keyboard encoder board. You simply disconnect the encoder board from under your keyboard, install the Superencoder in the same location, and connect the 16 pin cable to the same socket on your motherboard. Done!

The SuperEncoder also allows for use of older PS/2 keyboards. When ReActiveMicro revised the project we also added protection from users installing the cable backwards. No more worry about a damaged encoder board. The SuperEncoder can also be used with the Replica 1.
