The ReActiveMicro Drive/Turbo IDE Controller is a Mass Storage Device that once installed in the Apple II, II+, IIe, or IIgs acts like a solid-state Hard Drive using Compact Flash Cards.
We offer the ReActiveMicro Drive/Turbo IDE Controller in several configurations. It can come fully setup “Plug And Play” ready with a presetup 256MB CF Card and Dual CF Card Adapter. Just install the card in your Apple II and boot to ProDOS 8 or GS/OS. Or you can buy the card with or without the IDE to Dual CF Adapter and CF Card.
Able to use 2 CF Cards or IDE devices right out of the box – no special setup or configuration needed. II version can only use a single CF Card, which is an 8bit limit of the II, II+, and IIe. We also sell the External CF Drive for those who desire a simpler way to access their CF Cards.

NOTE: If you use your own CF Card you must confirm it complies to the original CF standard. If not it may not be compatible. And most manufactures no longer state revision compliance. Testing may be the only way to confirm compatibility. If the CF Card doesn’t seem to work, and is known good, then it’s not compatible.
